A new city is being planned in the USA. It is being planned by a billionaire. He wants to build a city of the future. The plan is to build the city in the desert. It would be a green city. No regular cars would be allowed. People would travel on bikes, by walking, and on scooters. There would be some electric self-driving cars too. The planners want to open the city in 2030. By 2050, they want to have 5 million people living there. The city will be called Telosa.

The city will cost $25 billion to start. The planners then expect this number to go to over $400 billion before the city is completely finished. The city will be designed so that people can quickly access everything they need. It will be a 15-minute city. This is where people have everything they need within a 15-minute walk or bike ride. The goal is for people to have access to work, school, grocery stores, and other essential services within the 15-minute limit.

The planners say this can be done because of how the city will be built. Most cities and projects of this size are built to sell houses and properties. However, Telosa will be built differently. The planners say they will be able to plan the city to be better for people because they will not sell the land. People will be able to have homes but they will not be able to own the land under them. This means the city will have more control. The first step for the project is to find a place to start building the city. The planners are starting to do that now.
