People have been changing many things in their lives because of COVID-19. Life has been very different for people around the world. People have been working from home, holidays have been missed, people haven’t been able to see their friends and many other things have been different. This has been happening in most places around the world for more than a year. There are vaccines to stop the spread of COVID-19 but not every country has access to them yet. Some countries have been slow to give them out too. Even vaccinated people have not been able to go completely back to normal because many things are still closed. People are tired of the restrictions and most people can’t wait to go back to normal.

Because of this, people have been growing increasingly angry at celebrities and rich people who are ignoring COVID-19 restrictions. This has been happening more and more as the pandemic has gone on. They have been going to parties, travelling and doing many things that regular people have not been able to do for over a year now. These are things many people really wish they could be doing. People in Belgium were angry when Brad Pitt was allowed to visit even though the country was in lockdown. Belgian people had to stay at home, almost everything was closed and people were not allowed to leave or enter the country unless it was for essential work. However, Brad Pitt was allowed to enter the country. Many people said this was unfair, they said that his work is not essential and that he should not have been allowed in. He was also given a private tour of a museum that has been closed to the public since the start of the pandemic. Nobody else has been allowed to go to the museum. These actions have made people in Belgium and other countries angry. They are upset that rich people are not following the same rules that they have to. They think there is one rule for normal people and another for rich and famous people.

Many celebrities have also been visiting Australia during the pandemic. Australia has strong restrictions for who can come into the country and COVID-19 hasn’t been very bad in Australia, partly because of those restrictions. People have to quarantine for two weeks when they arrive and have to pay up to $5000 as a fee for the quarantine room. Celebrities and rich people have been going to Australia because the quarantine and cost do not matter to them. Australians have been complaining because many Australians have not been able to return to their country. Some Australians have not been able to go back to Australia because of the quarantine cost. Others have not been able to go back because they can’t get flights from the countries that they are in. People in Australia are angry that celebrities can go to Australia but normal Australians cannot go back home. It is also making people angry to see celebrities having parties and events in their country without following proper COVID-19 safety protocols.
