Covid-19 has been difficult for many countries. Countries around the world have had to close shops and restaurants. Many countries have had to tell people to stay at home. In some countries, there has been almost complete lockdown. This has meant that people have only been allowed to leave their home for necessities and almost everything in these countries has been closed.

In Europe, many countries have now been locked down for months. Lockdowns in Europe began in February and March. France has been locked down for two months but is now starting to end the lockdown on May 11. Italy has been locked down for almost three months and is also now starting to open parts of the country. Almost every country in Europe has had some type of lockdown. There have also been lockdowns around the world, every country in the world has been affected by Covid-19 in some way. Now, many countries are starting to end their lockdowns. People want to start leaving their homes again and governments want their country’s economies to go back to normal.

However, not everyone thinks people should go back to normal. Many people are worried that ending the lockdowns too soon will bring the coronavirus back. If it comes back, then countries will have to lockdown again. There are arguments between people about which strategy is better. Some people think it is better to stay locked down as long as necessary and other people think the damage to the economy will be too much if people are locked down for much longer. Nobody knows exactly what is the best thing to do but everyone hopes that life can go back to normal soon.
