She was driving on the wrong side by mistake. While on the wrong side, she drove into a young man on a bike. He was on the correct side of the road. She killed him.

The woman was questioned by the police. She could not be taken because she has diplomatic immunity. This means she cannot be punished. She told the police she would stay in the UK and help them. She lied to the police and left the UK. She went back to America so she could be safe.

Many people in the UK are very angry. They want justice for the young man who was killed. They have asked the UK government to help. The UK government asked the US government to send her back to the UK. President Trump said he would not send her back. They want to protect their diplomat. The family of the young man are still trying to get the woman sent back to the UK.
