Jeffrey Epstein was a billionaire and a criminal; he died in August 2019.  He was in prison waiting for his trial when he died. He tried to commit suicide in July 2019 but failed.  People are shocked that he died because he should have been watched very closely after he tried to kill himself the first time. He should have been watched 24 hours a day and he shouldn’t have had anything that he could have used to hurt himself.

At first, his death was reported as a suicide. However, people think he could have been killed or helped to kill himself. There are many people who didn’t want him to talk to prosecutors. He knew many other rich and powerful people who had committed terrible crimes. It is suspected that these people had him killed so he couldn’t talk to the police.

It is rumoured that there is evidence which shows some of these people committing crimes. Many people hope that the evidence can be used to stop them even though Epstein is now dead.
