In January 2019, a picture of an egg was posted on Instagram. The picture had the caption “Let’s set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram.” The poster wanted to beat Kylie Jenner. She had the world record with 18 million likes. It just looked like an attempt to get the most popular picture on Instagram.

The picture succeeded. It received more than 52 million likes. It became the most liked picture on Instagram. Many celebrities shared the picture and millions of people followed the Instagram account.

Most people thought that was it. However, one month later the egg started to crack. A video of the egg breaking was posted on February 4. It revealed that the egg was posted to talk about mental health. The creators of the page want people to be healthier mentally. They created a page at www.talkingegg.info. It is a list for people to find help if they need it. They want people to add organisations to the list so other people can find help for mental health problems.
