North Korea said they will close their nuclear test site in May. North Korea has been testing nuclear weapons for a long time. It has made many countries angry.

Journalists have been invited to watch the site be closed. This is unusual because journalists from other countries are usually not allowed in North Korea. Nuclear scientists from South Korea and the US will watch too. North Korea is inviting the scientists and journalists to show that they are serious about destroying the site.

Experts think North Korea is closing the site because they will meet with Donald Trump in June. Recently North Korea has said that they might not meet with America. They are angry at something that the U.S. did.  If the meeting happens, they will try and make peace between North Korea and the rest of the world.

North Korea has not been very trustworthy in the past. This makes some people unsure if the meeting will work.
