In America, people can buy guns very easily. It has been allowed since the country was founded in 1776.

America is the country with the most guns in the world. There are over 300 million guns in the United States. Recently there have been many mass shootings. They are not uncommon in America but the last one was at a high school. Many people are upset that it keeps happening. They want guns to be banned or harder to buy.

Other people think it would violate their rights if anything changed. It is very important to them that they get to keep their guns. It is important because it is one of the rules that America made.

There are debates every time there is a mass shooting. Usually nothing changes and people are very angry about it. This time it seems like things might change. Businesses are dropping their support for a famous gun group. The children at the school that was attacked are protesting.

Maybe this time things will change.
